Elizabeth Herring (Em)

I was inspired to become a speechie after meeting people who worked in the field and found their passion for the profession to be inspiring and aligned with what I valued most in a job.

I find working with young children to build early speech and language skills to be highly rewarding, I enjoy helping families better understand their child and helping children express themselves in a way that they are comfortable with.

I use a family-centred approach to support families in goal setting and developing of therapy programmes. My main goals are to work to support and empower parents and children to better understand and support themselves in their day to day lives.

I enjoy seeing progress with my families and feeling a sense of pride in my work.
