I decided I wanted to be an OT because I wanted to be able to support people to participate in activities that are meaningful to them and help them to feel confident doing this.

Throughout my career, I have been lucky to work alongside children and families from a range of different areas and supported them to build towards development, independence, emotional regulation, sensory processing, and generally engaging in everyday activities.

I love working with children and their families to understand what makes them unique and then to develop practical strategies that fit into their routines. My approach is strengths-based, collaborative with key people involved and focused on fun so that therapy can feel engaging, purposeful and enjoyable for my clients.

The most rewarding part of being an OT is seeing people gain confidence, meaningful skills, be empowered, and discover what they can do and achieve things that were once challenging.
